Each team has a different context which results in a different process. This happens even if they are within the same department working on similar products. There are however practices that teams can use from each other to improve their own process. Process drawing is an easy and quick tool to start the discussion and show how they can improve their process.
This tool is inspired by Tom Wujec's draw toast workshop and [value stream mapping.]
In this guide, you will invite the participants, gather the materials needed and book a room to have the workshop in.
Woohoo! You have a bunch of people ready to make some awesome drawings and experience great learning. So let's start by explaining why they will draw something. Then actually start drawing and discuss the pieces of art afterwards.
Now that there are some great processes drawn it's important to make sure these drawings lead to something. And therefore you will share the artifacts, nurture the agreements people made and hopefully do it again after a while or a bit sooner, but with a different focus.
